Maternity Session with Jackie's Family

For days it poured rain at my home in Colville late in January, which is highly unusual for our area. A few days before Jaclyn’s maternity session I looked at the forecast… rain, rain, and more rain. I dug out the umbrellas and sighed, it’s going to be a dreary photo shoot this could be interesting. I awoke the morning of with a delightful surprise. Gorgeous snowflakes where floating in the sky and a nice blanket of white fluff had covered the ground.

It was a beautiful drive to their house and by the looks of it while I was getting rain they were getting snow. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful winter setting. It was so much fun to take this little family’s photos in the snow. We worked quickly to get the little one out of the cold as soon as possible, but she was trouper who really just wanted to keep eating snow fist full at a time. My favorite part was getting down at her level and asking her where the baby was and snapping away.

I can tell they are all excited for this new addition to their family to join them and it should only be days away now. Thank you so much Jackie for having me out to take these for you. I can’t wait to meet the little guy. You are a great mommy and have an adorable family.
