Tea Party Madness

While visiting in Washington this summer, my sister-in-law, the other 1/3 part of the crazy auntie club, and I got together with our girls to shoot this fun tea party session, her creative ingeniousness. It was probably the highlight of my entire summer. We spent several hours doing the girls hair and make-up, then set-up our charming little tea party scene in a perfectly shaded spot. Unfortunately, by the time it was set up and ready to go the sun had moved enough that it was all in direct blaring sun. Ahhh, but that didn’t stop us, we left it there and moved our beautiful girls to other areas and got creative. They were such troopers. The mosquitoes came in full force but we prevailed. When the sun finally moved out of our way we were able to capture a few shots before calling it a night.
